DC Couture Wedding Consortium - First Annual Charity Wedding
Cakes By Design is a member of the Washington DC Couture Wedding Consortium, which hosts an Annual Charity Wedding event. The wedding was held on September 11, 2004 and will be held on that date each year. The consortium wants Washingtonians to know that great and beautiful things still happen on September 11th!
The recipients of the 1st Annual Charity Wedding were Elizabeth Hopfinger and Jeff Thompson of Arlington, VA. Elizabeth works for Young Life’s Capernaum Partnership, which does outreach ministry to kids with disabilities. The couple received a wedding with an estimated value of $30,000 including the following:
